What is Gakumas?

From project-imas.wiki: Gakuen iDOLM@STER (学園アイドルマスター Gakuen Aidorumasutaa), or Gakumas for short, is an idol raising simulator mobile game developed by QualiArts ... The game was released on May 16th, 2024 for iOS 16 and Android 10 devices (either those or higher).

The purpose of this guide is just to be a simple launchpad for people who are interested in quickly beginning produce runs, and everything written on this page is based off of my own experience playing Gakumas. To reiterate: this guide is for newbies who have no idea what they're getting into. If that doesn't apply to you, then I'd highly recommend reading Rezarhb's guide, as it is much more in-depth and covers a lot more than what I'm going to discuss here.

If you read this and it doesn't make sense, please feel free to let me know, but also keep in mind that Gakumas gets a lot easier as you continue playing through runs; your first few are bound to be flops.

The main game mode in Gakumas is "Produce." In Produce mode, you produce your chosen idol as she prepares for the midterm and final examination, guiding her through lessons and other activities to raise her stats.

There are two plans that Produce cards in Gakumas can take: Sense and Logic . In RPG terms, Sense plan idols are focused on building constant DPS by collecting stacks which enhance your damage output, while Logic idols can be seen as DoT dealers and tanks who can utilize cards that deal extreme finishers.

For each plan, there are two effects that the Produce card focuses on, making four total effects that you can earn stacks of. For Sense idols, these effects are Good Condition 💪 and Concentration 💥; Logic has Impression 👍 and Motivation ✊.

Sense		Logic
Good Condition 💪boosts parameter by 50% while active; additionally, Perfect Form raises parameter for each stack of Good Condition when active. When the turn begins, one stack of Good Condition and Perfect Form are removed.	Concentration 💥boosts parameter for each stack gained.	Impression 👍deals damage for each stack owned at the end of the turn. When the turn begins, one stack of Impression is removed.	Motivation ✊increases the amount of Energy (shield) gained for each stack owned.

Although each Produce card has a recommended effect, it is useful to keep a few stacks of both effects of your idol's Plan; some essential cards can only be activated by spending stacks of effects rather than health.
